Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies

120g Butter, softened
75g Light Brown Sugar
75g Golden Caster Sugar
1 Medium Egg
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
180g Carr’s Plain Flour
½ tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
150g Dark Chocolate, cut into chunks
85g maple syrup
100ml milk
1 punnet of blueberries
Extra oats for sprinkling
  1. Cream the butter and sugars together until very light and fluffy, then beat in the egg and vanilla. Once combined, stir in the flour, bicarb, chocolate and ¼ tsp salt.
  2. Once dough has reached desired texture and chocolate chips are evenly distributed, roll into a 2-inch thick log on grease-proof paper and wrap up, twisting up the ends and using rubber bands to secure. Place into freezer for 2-3 hours or until fully frozen through. 
  3. Pre-heat air fryer at 160 degrees for 5 minutes. Cut into 2-3cm thick discs and air fry for 8-13 minutes or until the centre is soft and gooey.
