The Perfect Sauce (Hints & Tips)
Our Sauce Flour is a cooks best friend! Use for thickening sauces, soups, stews and casseroles or making sauces from scratch.
For thickening, sprinkle and stir into hot, not boiling, soups, stews and casseroles. Simmer for a further 3 minutes.
Carr’s Sauce Flour is suitable for making sauces without added fat, however, butter or fat can be added to suit your taste.
As a guide, 25g or 1 heaped tbsp of Carr’s Sauce Flour thickens 300ml of liquid.
