Our Mills

Carr’s Flour have been making flour for nearly 200 years. We have three mills based in Kirkcaldy (Fife), Silloth (Cumbria) and Maldon (Essex).

We pride ourselves on centuries old milling expertise to produce flours of the highest quality and consistency. All of our three UK mills are equipped with the very latest in 21st century advances, such as computerised flour blending to particle size control which is combined with centuries-old milling skills to produce top grade flours. It’s this unique blend of tradition and technology that means Carr’s Flour is still the first choice for bakers who quite rightly expect the best.

We source only the best wheat from home and abroad and we have invested heavily in the latest milling technology. Our flours are created with attention to detail, supplying everyone from independent bakers to major food retailers.

Together the three mills provide UK-wide coverage for our customers. Our production, sales, technical and customer services are all based on site at each of our mills so you’ll always have a locally based trusted point of contact for all your flour requirements and account handling.

We also can provide product innovation and technical and baking support to our customers. We are there every step of the way.
